The IPOWER motor protection circuit breaker is designed to protect a three-phase asynchronous electric motor from overload and short circuit, as well as for starting and shutting down. The protection of the electric motor is carried out by means of a thermomagnetic release built into the machine, which is a combination of a thermal and magnetic relay. The magnetic relay turns off the electric motor when the voltage drops unacceptably, and the thermal relay protects it from overloads (overheating).
They are used in industrial facilities, agriculture and construction. It can also be used for local control of individual electric motors, in automation of residential and administrative buildings.
